Nice stay in Aberdeen

nightclubsas already stated this boutique hotel - with just breakfast is down a two flights of stairs in the basement of what was a nightclub. Unfortunately there is still a nightclub above it. Not one of the 12 residents was able to sleep before 1 a.m. due to the noise. The hotel did try and get the base turned down - lovely rooms, but not for sleeping!!

City Centre RoomNew hotel with small rooms. I stayed in a cosy single which was well appointed and clean. Good TV, comfortable bed and free access to internet (essential for business traveller). Modern bathroom with spa type bath and shower. Some minor issues with plumbing (basin plug gor stuck and mixer taps were a bit hit and miss at delivering right water temperature. Friendly atmosphere and excellent location.

Very clean hotel, but a very small and claustrophobic room in the heat of the night I stayed. Breakfast was disappointing. Receptionist very friendly.

fantastic hotelWe have stayed here a few times now, its a lovely clean hotel with a pleasant atmosphere, the rooms are lovely and comfortable, complete with lcd tv, hairdriers and tea/coffee making facilities. The staff have always been very very pleasant. Although its right in the heart of nightlife the rooms are very quiet, you dont hear the outside life! Breakfast is continental which is all we need and the coffee is lovely!! Its definately our first choice of hotel and we will be back!!

A friendly, pleasant, comfortable stay in the heart of AberdeenThe quality of my stay here has managed to exceed my already relatively high expectations of it that I had obtained through reviews I had read prior to my arrival. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was no problem at all obtaining an iron and they readily booked me a cab that had arrived punctually for my departure the next day. I stayed in the only available single room which was small but extremely comfortable and furnished with a large plasma TV, a luxurious bed and a nifty jacuzzi tube. Internet was free if one had a laptop or wireless device. And if one got bored, there was even a list of DVDs which guests could borrow from reception for no cost at all. Breakfast was also included with the stay which had a decent amount of variety. On top of all this, the hotel could not have been located in a more central and convenient part of town in the near vicinity of most of the local attractions and a short walk from the bus and train stations. Without a doubt, I would readily stay in the Aberdeen City Centre Hotel again if I should ever find myself in the granite city in the future.

Weekend BreakWe enjoyed our stay in this hotel, it was clean ,friendly and a really good choice of continental breakfast. The room we had was small but had everything we needed . I would probably ask for a different room if I stay again simply because whoever was above us (we were in room 8) seemed to be pacing the floor most of the night which disturbed our sleep but other than that we have no compalints and would cetainly recommend this hotel.

Short stayThough the hotel was unprepossessing on the outside, the interior was ultra modern and quite comfortable. Rooms were a little small and lacked drawers, one lacked even a wardrobe. Jacuzzis very good. Staff pleasant.

Aberdeen City Centre HotelCould not get any better location for city centre, right at heart of shopping. Staff were really helpful and welcoming. was worried that it might be noisy but apart from slight traffic noise during morning rush hour didn't notice it at all. Although continental breakfast only there was a very wide and varied selection of food to choose from including fresh fruit. Would certainly stay again.

very last minuteLast minute decision to go away for a 1 night(Sunday) visit to Aberdeen. Right in the middle of the city, small car park(ask reception for directions). We stayed in room 9 right by the exit door at the rear of the building and next to the laundry room. Although this was fine for a 1 night stay, I feel it could have been a problem for a longer stay due to guests leaving and staff going about their duties. The room itself was fine for our purpose ,well decorated, nice bedding and a modern bathroom with a lovely big jacuzzi/spa bath. never took advaqntage of breakfast but on leaving we were asked if we would like some breakfast and this was 1 hour after serving had finished. Staff were very helpful form start to finish.

The outside of the hotel is very deceiving as it looks like you are going into a hostel, but inside the rooms are smart, stylish and comfortable. The bed's especially so. The only problem I had was with noise from the bar upstairs.

small but centralThe hotel was a stones throw from Union Street, which saved on taxi fares, but the room was very samll which for the cost was a bit of a surprise. Everything clean and good shower though.

weekend breakThe room was small but clean and comfortable. Drawbacks were that there wasn't any storage space and the window wouldn't open. The continental breakfast reasonable except there was only sliced bread and no rolls.

Can't fault the Aberdeen city centre hotel at all. Everything was excellent. The staff were wonderful, helpful and polite. The room was lovely. No noise, clean, a comfortable bed and most of all a fantastic jacuzzi bath! We were allowed to park at the back of the building which was great. We didn't expect this as the hotel is so central. In short - we would (and have already) highly recommend it to anyone - we'll be back!
