A Knights Rest Guest House

A Knights Rest Guest House is a newly refurbished guesthouse offering bed & breakfast accommodation. Located just 7 minutes walk from the beach either at Greenhill or the Old Pier Bandstand and a 15 minute walk to town. All of our rooms have en suite facilites with colour television tea and coffee making and hair dryer. The tea coffee and sugar in our rooms are all 'Fair Trade' products and Weymouth and Portland are now officially a "Fair Trade Zone" We also provide you with a breakfast that will set you up for the day! (room only from 24 December to 2 January). We are open all year round so ideal for both Summer and Winter breaks. Weymouth is just as beautiful out of season why not come and see! We are on the main bus route with the bus stop just outside our guest house. Weymouth is situated in the heart of the Jurassic Coast in the South West of England and is famous for it's award winning sandy beaches stunning seaside and outstanding countryside. The beach has a traditional Punch and Judy show donkey rides and our very own 'sand man' and his famous sand sculptures including this year the 'sand castle hotel' that was built on the beach. The local area provides plenty for all to do including fishing sailing scuba diving golf and bird watching at the Swannery and Lodmoor. We are also very proud to be the host at the Portland Sailing academy to all the sailing events for the Olympics in 2012. You will also find many attractions to visit such as Monkey World The Tank Museum Abbotsbury Swannery Sub Tropical Gardens and Childrens Farm Portland and Dorchester Musuems and Portland Bill to name but a few!
