The location is strategic. It is away from the hustle n bustle of big cities. The whole resort is clean actually in spite of the falling leaves on the street. But it's windy, so no one can actually stop the leaves from falling. But i do see the staff sweeping the leaves. At least they make some effort there. The facilities, in terms of rooms, i think it is okay. The 3rooms condo is spacious enough for a family of six. The staff at the check in counter is okay if she puts more effort to smile a bit. But our check in is quick one actually (thanks to the check in counter staff). Maybe the resort could build swimming pool at the new condo just like the old one. It could make the condo more lively. The theme parks are great. Especially Safari & Cowboy Town. But maybe the resort could lower the ticket price a little bit. But however, the shows are fun to watch. In general, we do enjoy ourselves staying at the resort. Hope that the resort will keep on upgrading their facilities and aim to serve the best service.

Stayed one night there recently while driving back to KL from JB. The rooms are not very clean. Moss & fungus in the bathroom. The aircond in the room not working, even after complaining & the repairman did some adjustment. When complain to the manager the next day, he did not even apologized. The tv reception terrible. The breakfast is really the worst, they charge 350++ for room so you expect a decent breakfast, but they only serve you 1 egg, 2 sausage & 2 piece of bread!!!! THAT IS ALL... if you want anything extra must pay even 1 piece of bread they want you to pay $2 cash, there & then. The hotwater in the shower also not working, cannot adjust, its either too cold or too hot.

I have heard many stories about A'Famosa, however i have decided to try it out with my family this holiday. We checked in at Hotel Superior Deluxe room, which we had been informed that these are the latest upgraded hotel room. The room is OK and spacious with 2 queen bed, just good for our small family. My first sight has been attracted with the Wall Deco, it is something new and surpring that unfinished wall can be a good deco as well. The A'Famosa Carnival at the Cowboy Town is a great show, a musical parade with variety of animals, malaysia cultural dances, red indian, cowboys, etc.. and firework display. My children really love it. It was a quiet enjoyable holiday with our 2 nights stay at A'Famosa.

This has to be the worst resort I've ever stayed in! The rooms are dirty and smelly plus with bath tubs that don't function. Don't even bother to call for room service as the staff there cant even understand basic english. You only get 5 channels on tv and they aren't even of proper quality. The food is lousy and overpriced. I went to the cowboy town and was amazed to see improper handling of animals, performers smoking during the shows and really bad handling by the emcee. I can only sum up my visit to the show as crappy. The breakfast buffet is so bad that you will be regretting your stay and cursing the resort. Get ready to be skimmed of your hard earned money.

I stayed in 3 bedroom villa with private swimming pool. This was the worst choice I made in my life. The villa was so bad, we spent the first day trying to fix bathrooms showers and flush. The swimming pool was very dirty and filtering was not working and the staff of the resort would not even consider looking at the problems. Prices of food and services were double the advertised prices. Breakfast was a joke as plain eggs was the best choice served at a rate of an egg for three guests. The staff of the resort are the worst of all. Very impolite. unprofessional and unwilling to help. They intimidated guests all the time. The attractions specially the water world are dirty and dangerous for human use.

I stayed at the D'savoy condohotel for 3D2N. Luckily it was 3d2n, I had high hopes before i open the door to the room because of the nice and beautiful pictures i found on the net and on the poster, but when i went in everything was bad. It was so very small, the room and bed stink so much different then from the pictures. However, the room service was nice, the drinks was replenish, the toilet was nice. Unfortunately, we have to wait for 10 min for hot water, after bath a while suddenly there is no hot water, cannot not even enjoy to soak in a tub of hot water. The worst is the service from the counter, wanted to order supper and call room service which only available after 11pm +++, called 4 times before the order is taken cause someone else have order room service so pleasr call again (so ridiculous, can't they have another staff to attend???) not to mention, we have to wait for hours before it was served, was all asleep by then and had to wake up to eat and answer the door. The worse is the shuttle bus, had to wait for very long for the shuttle bus to come, which was need to travel from one place to another as the place was very far apart form each other. On the last day, the shuttle bus service was down (hey, the bus is not operated by the machine but by human, so how come very single bus is down?) had to walk to cowboy town to have breakfast, which was decent. But the town itself, the entrance fee was ridiculous. It was expensive, we had to pay for the entrance fee + carnival fee+ theater fee+ dinner fee. The dinner fee was ??? why do we have to pay dinner fee to enter to go to the place we want to eat and pay again for the meal. Luckily we did not go. Cause we get to watch free firework display from my room at the hotel haha. I had not much hope for the water world, but it was worse, the water was dirty, all the slides were down so only play at wave pool because the lazy pool water was in bad condition, i don't even want to mention. Was given food ticket to eat there the food was nice maybe it had improve. We bought extra to settle for our dinner because it was hard to find food to eat. The club house does have food, but they only serve buffet which was the same thing every time. So only ate once. Overall, will never go there again
