I stayed here over Christmas week and all the hotel restaurants were closed until jan. 5th. They had only ten rooms full over 5 floors but put people directly in the room next to mine. The walls are VERY thin. I could hear voices having conversations, someone coughing, and a child yelling late into the evening. It's a new hotel but I'd ask for a room without ajoining doors to another room.

It was very nice, clean and the staff was friendly enough. The signage for parking was very confusing and so was the layout of the place. I really can't complain too much about the staff or facilities but I was annoyed very much about the failure to note that parking for this place was an additional $14 a night. If there are fees like this then we should be able to choose whether to accept this bid acceptance or move on to another hotel without exorbitant fees and lack of free parking. I understand that it is a convention center as well but the hotel should validate parking if you are staying with them. I am just glad I was only staying one night. The parking charges negate anything I saved on bidding for the hotel room. I could have chosen a hotel that didn't charge parking fees.

This is a brand new hotel located right on the campus of UT. It's just a few blocks from the stadium too. Nice rooms and great space.

This was a great hotel. We stayed there for UT baseball camp. Only 4 minutes to the field. The family walked to the IMAX. Great location!!!

It was in a great location, beautiful room, very comfortable room and hotel. This hotel was great, right in the heart of downtown, walking distance to the university and the Capital, the parking was safe and covered, the staff very helpful and overall great experience.

The overall experience was wonderful. The beds were comfortable, and the room was tastefully decorated with a longhorn theme. We completely lucked out and got a room on the 6th floor facing east with a balcony that was shared with a few rooms on either side of us. We had a great view of the UT Tower, the Littlefield Fountain, Jester Dormitory, the football stadium and the Capitol. Wow! The room was tastefully decorated with a modern longhorn theme, which I loved. The king sized bed was comfortable. The room also included a sleeper sofa if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, which included my fiance and his buddy drinking scotch, smoking cigars and playing poker on the balcony.

I liked the room a lot. The location wasn't as close to downtown as I would have liked. Good hotel though still working out a few of the kinks, great for being close to campus but a little far from the actual downtown.
