The hotel was fully adequate for my requirements; Did match my exspectations;Just three subway stops to main train station;

This was one of the few rooms you could get for 3 adults. We had taken an eldery lady to visit her family in Dk. Room was very affordable, clean, and cozy. Especially when you consider the price. Couldn't be beat. Had a nice stay. Had a gps so didn't have any prombem finding our way around. That is another thing that I highly recommend when traveling to Europe. You aren't so tied down to the high rates close to the airports. It pays for itself in just one trip. Have a wonderful trip.

Staff were very friendly, and had excellent english. They have net access in the lobby, and provide phone cards for international calling which is quite cheap (eg €5 for 50 minutes to landline in Ireland - June 2008). Breakfast consisted of cereals, meats, cheeses, breads, yogurts, fruit, juices and tea/coffee. Room was quite small but was adequate, with two windows but only one curtain which let in a bit too much light. Location was a bit out of Hamburg centre but the metro is about a 10 min walk away. Very much more like a hostel than a hotel, but the price was favourable.
