Comfortable hotel with good location, just 20 min walking distance from Pl. Catalunya. Clean and comfortable rooms, only problem is noise as they are building underground parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast meets expectations (hamon, Cava, sufficient meal variability) Staff very friendly. Good value for money!

Comfortable and clean hotel, located in a walking distance (15-20 min) from the Plasa Catalunya, however not closed to metro. Romes comfortables with main facilities. Moderate but sufficient breakfast.

I cannot begin to describe how much I enjoyed my stay at the AB Viladomat. The staff spoke English quite well, was always pleasant, and made sure I was enjoying my stay. An example of their kindness can be shown by one of the receptionist allowing my friends and me to go behind the main desk, on his own suggestion, and take a picture of us to capture the moment. The location of the hotel for my friends and I was fine. However, if you don't like to walk, than the location of this hotel might be a problem. Though, one of the largest train stations in Barcelona is about 15 minutes away, and so is the local metro as well. There was a food market 3 minutes away, an ATM, as well as little shops and restaurants around the same vicinity of the hotel. Without a doubt would I stay here again and recommend this hotel to all of my friends. On a scale from one to ten this hotel would be in the eight to ten range without hesitation.

Great hotel with excellent modern facilities, including restaurant and bar. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the whole month of August due to holidays which was a bit disappointing. The room was huge, with a very big balcony - excellent value for money.

This was a nice hotel, clean and in a good area. The staff was very polite and spoke very good english. As for the location, 3 metro stations were close by but we found many of the sights in walking distance. I was very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone that wants to visit barcelona.

Restaurant being renovated so facilities grade reflects this. Location is not bad but major roadworks in front of the hotel, noise was not an issue. reasonably close to sants but in hindsight i wouls stay closer to the rambles area. Overall through good value for money with helpfull staff

Reception staff excellent, helped us to sort out problems when our money was stolen - Remus even lent us some of his own money to buy a meal. Breakfast was excellent - far better than we expected. Reception staff very helpful with maps and directions. Would stay here again when visiting Barcelona.

Nice, clean hotel with helpful staff and free computer use. The breakfast buffet was ample and well prepared. The room was a bit small. Quiet, but longer walk to The Ramblas than described.
