Description:
FREE daily hot buffet breakfast all year long. Come stay at 9 Beaches and you will do the unexpected Bermuda. The unexpected Bermuda? You bet. But, hey, this is Bermuda so you will still be in for a first class vacation experience. Here's a preview of what you'll find at 9 Beaches, one of Bermuda's newest resorts: Comfortably chic soft-sided cabanas feature ceiling fan, air conditioner, window screens, wooden floors, and French doors that open to furnished verandas that face the sea. Queen Size Bed plus one pull-out Futon sofa bed, a table and chairs, bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, mini fridges, beach towels, coffee maker and hair dryer are also provided. Each cabana features a complimentary Bermuda cell phone, pre-programmed with numbers for hotel services. Water sports galore - more than any other Bermuda hotel or resort. Kayak, snorkel, sail, windsurf, take a scenic tour, go fishing or try your hand at scuba or snuba. Take your pick of beaches - it has 9 beaches (at least!) to choose from, definitely among the most gorgeous Bermuda beaches with beautiful turquoise water. What's that? You're Type "A"? No problem. Its Wi-Fi service will let you check your e-mail anytime at any of its Wi-Fi hot spots at the Resort. Download and cool down at the same time. Didn't bring your laptop? No problem. Got you covered with two Internet stations, which are free of charge. Each soft-sided cabana feels very open with lots of windows and French doors that open to a spacious veranda facing the water. Window screens keep Mother Nature out while ceiling fans and tropical off-shore breezes help keep you comfortable inside. For those of you who need an extra dose of cool, air conditioning is available in all cabanas. Now some folks have called our rooms "luxury tents," however we prefer to call them cabanas. Up on stilts, ocean views, air conditioning, small bathroom and more make these way too cool to be called tents. Cabanas it is! The cabanas are incredibly sturdy structures with aluminum frames and double walls of an extremely durable space-age soft-sided sailcloth-like material proven to withstand high winds. Just so you know, the roofs are also made of this same soft-sided sailcloth-like material. We have it on good authority that at night when it rains, the sound on the sailcloth roof is oh so romantic. But then again, you be the judge.

Ask for a cabin near the water! Had a breeze 24-7 off the coast. Very relaxing if you want to get away from the tourist traps.

Had a considerable amount of rain which negated alot of the water sports I was interested in. Had two dinners, not very good. The rock lobster was overcooked and the veggies were almost raw. Breakfast was the best meal with a variety of foods. The waffles were great.

The accomodations were very unique. I was a little skeptical about staying in a room with canvas sides and roof, but was pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the cabana. The setting is so beautiful. A great place to watch the sun rise and set. All cabanas have a view of the waterand are graced by a gentle ocean breeze. The staff was kind and courteous. I went for a quick weekend, but would definitely go back for a longer stay!!!

The location was perfect! Some 10 mins walk from the bus stop, but the view of the beautiful blue ocean right in front of you, is worth a lot! The only issue was an unpleasant and quite strong, honestly, odor that reached us the last couple of days of our stay, coming from the neighboring farm. That was something was didn't expect, as it was not mentioned anywhere...

If you want peace, quiet, and breathtaking location, make 9 Beaches your first choice. Don't expect luxury - the cabanas are designed to put you in touch with the beautiful environment. Staff is wonderful. Always helpful and personable, I felt more like a neighbor than a guest. Cannot wait to go back!!

My husband and I left after one day at 9 Beaches. If you like camping; then this is the place for you, but if you want even the smallest comforts that come expected when you are on vacation.

We had our wedding here and was more than satisfied. The staff went above and beyond to make our day as special and stress free as could be. I would recommend 9 Beaches to any brides looking for a destination location. We are planning our next visit already!

We went in this resort with friends for 4 days in November. We had wind and heavy rain one night. So the cabana's structure (plastic) was not very good for this kind of weather, it was very noisy and difficult to sleep. We were also a little bit far from Hamilton where all the restaurants were, and it was a little bit expensive by cab. But the site of the hotel is exceptional ! The sea, the beaches and the cabanas are wonderful ! And also the staff was so friendly and pleasant with us ! Everybody was helpfull and nice. They didn't charge us for the first night snack, because it was late and nothing was open. They offered us a "welcome drink" the last night because we hadn't it the first day. And the breakfast buffet was so great : I never seen such a good breakfast like that for a long time... So it was a wonderful trip !

One of the most peaceful and relaxing 4 days one could want. The view from our cabanna felt like we were on a cruise ship. So peaceful and relaxing...a great place do absolutly nothing. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, accommodating and nice. The food was great! I can't wait to go back!!

This was in some ways, one of the nicest places I've had the pleasure of staying. First off, I can't say enough about the beauty of Bermuda, and how friendly the people are there. As for the hotel...... The concept; cabanas with incredible views on a less crowded part of the island, is fantastic. It will appeal to anyone who loves "roughing" it a little or who just flat out prefers to stay somewhere where they are part of the surroundings, and not in some stuffy typical resort. The beaches are small, but gorgeous. Great snorkeling. Now the down side. While I expected a no frills resort, I didn't expect to find broken glass all over the trails and beaches. I didn't expect the smell, make that the stench of an over crowded dairy farm which happens to be right next door! The upside is that you can only smell it in the entrance part of the resort. Luckily our Cabana was on the opposite side. The food was decent, but pricey ( as are most meals in Bermuda). My wife and I were disappointed to see that they never opened their only beach bar and restaurant ( Dark & Stormys) one day, which was possibly due to impending rain ( which never came), but more likely due to a staff member just not showing up to open it. The water sports center, "Fantasea", is independently owned and not run by the resort, and is over priced and severely overwhelmed at times. The tennis court was full of leaves and sand, but that didn't matter much. Even though they advertise free tennis and equipment usage, they could only locate one tennis racquet for us when we inquired! The staff, while friendly, can be a little forgetful ( not calling my taxi for the airport when they said they would, which nearly made us miss our flight home). All these things aside, it is still a great place to stay. My wife and I just wished they were a little more on the ball with maintenance and the little things that make you stay more enjoyable. But like I said, if you are the outdoors type, and value your surroundings ab

We spent a week at the resort and got married here too and had a terrific time. The resort is exactly as advertised. You are staying in a luxury tent. Rooms were clean, towels were plentiful, food was fantastic. Beaches were the best part. Yes, there was a farm near the entrance of the resort property but we did not notice a smell. The service can be considered slow if you are not used to "island time" and do not take in account that everything is (nicely) spread out. This resort is not for you if you like 600 ct sheets, chocolates on your pillow, formal dining, or are in a hurry to go anywhere. And you are staying in a tent so it don't expect the room to be 65 degrees - even with the room AC - but we were never uncomfortable.

staff is very friendly. food a little pricey. shrimp cocktail is not worth the money. they should pick the garbage out of the seaweed that washed upshore. the other beach was immaculate. staff member failed to tell me how much the pink party was and when i got there they did not take credit cards and i didn't have enough cash on me. i would go back.

We walked the rail trail (great, really beautiful). Went to the beach (really great). Spent a morning at Dockside (Fort was great, Dockside too touristy)

We had a lovely stay, I realise a lot of people might not like the idea of a cabana, but we loved it, it was warm and breezy. The food was delicious and cocktails were fab. We did have an incident at the pool, broken glass on the bottom, two of us cut our feet and no one helped, I had to get the first aid kit myself. The staff were not too concerned, I was worried about kids getting hurt. The bus service to Naval Docks was convenient and the beaches were lovely. Quiet too, but we were there a bit out of season. Would definitely stay there again.

this hotel is good if you want something out of the ordinary. First you have to stay in the aqua vista or better rooms. all points of attraction are pretty far, and beaches at the resort are nothing to write home about. I loved the room and the staff for the most part was very friendly. Be prepared to spend a big chunck of change on taxis

Positives: Free internet, free complimentary breakfast, great food and great service with very friendly and accommodating staff. Cabanas are very small and are not private. You can hear the people in the cabanas next to you. The cabanas are soft-sided material resembling a tent, therefore it's a lot like camping but with great views of the ocean. Great snorkeling and fantastic sunsets. The staff is outstanding

"Sound and light transmission make sleep nearly impossible. I sleep with earplugs and was still awakened repeatedly by mopeds, resort golf cart, loud talkers, etc. Am checking out this morning after first night to find a real hotel with solid walls and drapes that block the light."

the most relaxing vacation I have ever been on. I have nothing negative to say-Do the meal plan and you never have to leave the resort. $40.00 dinner in Bermuda unheard of! Food was out of this world!Staff wonderful, and ALL the Best Beaches in Bermuda!! The cruise ship passengers are brought to this resort to dive,snorkel,snuba,kayaking,sail...We only had to roll out of bed ad walk 100 ft to the dive shop!! WE will be back next year and will bring our kids.
