Stylish, boutique hotel. Bathroom floor tiles were heated. Luxurious bed. Bedroom very small and not enough light. Excellent value for Manhattan. Stylish with a boutique feel, this hotel has luxuriously soft beds, and heated floor tiles in the bathroom. The rooms are small, and could be better lit, but it was exactly what we needed, to treat ourselves without being too extravagant. Location was key, atmosphere and convenience.

Decor, restaurant, privacy, quiet. Shower stall floor looked stained. Overall - very pleased with everything.

Staff was pleasant and the room was beautiful and well kept. The mini bar was pretty expensive. As soon as I walked into the lobby, it was great. Service was wonderful. Room was beautiful. When you leave for the day and come back at night, the housekeeping had gotten everything ready to get into bed and lights on. They exceeded my expectations.

The location is good. Near bus and subway lines. Staff really seemed to struggle to provide basic assistance, like checking in and checking out. They were nice, just unable to deal with guests. We upgraded to a larger room, but these boutique hotels in NYC really don't offer what a Sheraton or Hilton offer. Just because they have a beautiful faucet doesn't mean that there is any counter space in the bathroom or more than a walkway in the room. You pay extra for these places and you would be better at the chain.

Location and price point. Room is smaller than cruise ship rooms without the extra storage and conveniences. The location is perfect and the staff wonderfully friendly. The room was smaller than both cruise ship rooms I have had which would be okay if they also provided all of the amenities that a cruise ship provides to accommodate your needs. The bathroom needs a hook and some storage or shelving. Also some shelves by the full length mirror would allow me help. Mostly they need to stop calling this a 4 star hotel. If they called themselves a 3 star people would be happier with what they get. The hotel is attractive and luxurious but in a 4 star hotel room you don't have to turn sideways to walk past the bed.

Excellent location and proximaty to Lincoln Center and the service was outstanding. It is minor point but I missed having a desk in my room. Wonderful location, outstanding and attentive housekeeping service, beautifully decorated rooms and a friendly and helpful staff.

Very convenient and clean. Slamming doors all night. Overall, very good value for the money. Quite noisy inside. Doors slamming all night. Have never been able to understand that a hotel doesn't have doors that close quietly and gently. Seems like a simple enough item to take care of.

Design of the room and bathroom were great for the small space. Noisy in the AM, we could hear voices clearly, and doors being shut. Over all it was good, if it weren't for the noise issue in the morningI would list it as great.

Location and helpful bellman. Small rooms, no place to put clothes and belongings. Everything was a problem to the desk staff. Room was so small, luggage had to be laid on the floor and tripped over to get to the bathroom. Although a regular visitor to Manhattan, I have never stayed in such an uncomfortable and noisy hotel. Rap music in elevator.

Decor, size andstaff. No desks, no furniture in rooms. No rugs. One glass in bathroom. Nice size and good location. But the look and ambiance was at total expense of comfort. Looked like good hotel for twenty - somethings to rent a room to have a party. No furniture in rooms, some had no rugs. Most had no desk or any other comfort needed if you intend to do anything but sleep in a bed. Bed was great.

It was clean, convenient and had a nice and well-functioning bathroom. The dark decor (black and blue, with pewter metal trim) of the public areas was oppressive.

Terrific staff; located steps from Columbus Circle. Pod room is tiny even by NYC standards. Small, boutique hotel newly renovated with very small pod rooms; upgrades are available to better sized rooms. Staff is young, good looking, and very pleasant and attentive. Rooms and public spaces are clean and well laid out; beds and linens are heavenly; showers even better.

Great location, friendly staff small room Great place overall. My room was small with one full size bed, not big enough for two adults.

Location. Bed and room were too small, no view, no sound proofing. Hotel was horrible. Rooms were tiny and loud and had no view. More like a 2 star hotel.

Room was generous and very well decorated No desk in the room The staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location right next to the Time Warner Center and the Subway. One of the best stays I have had in NYC.

Great central location - Hip modern design. Some what tight quarters - but well decorated. Great hotel, location and quality of fixture and furnishings. Tight quarters are more than offset by hip factor and high-end bathroom, toiletries, linens, etc.

Staff was extremely accommodating. Staff was overly chatty. This hotel provided a great experience for my wife and I. At check-in my room was not available so I was upgraded free of charge. Every member of the staff was helpful (a little too chatty) but the overall experience was very good. We would stay there again.

Very hip and romantic. Great location. Very clean. Very small room, but it is Manhattan. Very hip boutique hotel right on Columbus Circle. Location is very convenient, the room was small but very nice and very clean. Bed was super-comfortable, bathroom floors are heated, even had an iPod dock. My wife and I stayed the weekend for our anniversary and it was the perfect spot. Highly recommended unless you are bringing the kids.

Location was excellent, just below Central Park and across from Time Warner building. No complaints. We enjoyed our stay at Six Columbus. Location was excellent, with the Time Warner bldg right across the street, as well as the subway. The hotel staff was gracious, accommodating and very polite. The room was cozy, with a comfortable bed and the floor in the bathroom was heated (very nice in the winter). Would definitely stay there again.

The room is in comfortable design. Very convenient location. The room is too small, no suitable place to place the luggage. Service is not good enough. I was given a room with broken heater. The heater did not work at first. After someone came to fix it by restarting the compressor, it would not stop heating the room whatever temperature I set. The repairer found no way to make the heater keep the temperature, the solution he provided was open the window to balance the heater.
