BrilliantMyself and my partner had never stayed in this hotel before and was not disappointed, it was beautiful, the rooms were stunning, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great room, great location, shame about breakfastReally nice room - great decor, with high ceilings and a really nice snuggly duvet. Really let down by the quality of the breakfast - no hot food (probably due to the restaurant being refurbished), very poor choice and quality for continental breakfast, and poor service from the one waitress.

62 Castle StreetThe overall quality of the hotel and room was excellent but this was let down by there being no restaurant or bar facilities - this was not advised during the booking process which was very disappointing. I would there only recommend this hotel if both bar and restaurant facilities were available.

Central Hotel Close to Everything

Excellent customer serviceStopped at the Castle Street Hotel at the weekend and cannot fault, in anyway, the customer service or value for money. The hotel is ideally situated for the Albert Dock or city centre and parking is close by. The hotel rooms were large and modern with separate living room areas with large plasma TV's.The staff were helpful and accommodating at all times and even arranged for a late night pizza delivery.We would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Liverpool.

Booked the room through laterooms.com - fantastic value for £99. The room was large, spacious and felt like a 'proper' hotel. Rather Grand.Reception staff where as good as it gets.Little niggles - no mini-bar, windows screwed shut, no in-house TV channel would question the door rate of £295.Hotel was excellently positioned for all sight-seeing & shopping.Would recommend to anyone that gets an appropriate rate.

Lovely room and helpful staff, just a couple of things to considerThe room was really lovely- comfortable and clean. Lovely bed linen, fluffy towels, swooshy curtains, big telly, tea and coffee. However the shower head isn't mounted quite high enough to get right under if you are 5'10 and we only had one fluffy white robe, so we had to take it in turns! The staff were very helpful in finding out about cinemas, locations, parking and giving us directions. We had a lovely restful weekend break. Thankyou.

Night out in LiverpoolWe enjoyed a great overnight stay at this hotel - ideal location for a night out in town.The suite was clean with a high standard of facilities....we will be back when the restaurant and bar re-opens in August.

Excellent boutique hotel in Liverpool CentreVery well located for almost everything and certainly for our needs. Spacious room, well appointed, good fittings and comfortable. Bed large and comfortable, if you like light, warm and soft duvets this is a good one. Bathroom spacious too. Staff friendly and helpful.Restaurant closed for renovation so breakfast only served in the lounge which was mid range continental type.

Hotel looked great on the website and didn't disappoint. Large stylish clean rooms. Staff were friendly and willing to help and advise us through our stay in Liverpool. Fantastic location, 30 seconds from the edge of Liverpool 1, and one minute to the docks.

Lovely RoomI was very excited about staying in this hotel after looking at the website, and I was not at all dissapointed by the lovely room we were given, my only complaint was that there was no room service, nor a welcome booklet/folder in the room, other than that incredible value for money and I will stay again.

Would recommendHotel was well positioned - within walking distance of Albert Docks and Liverpool One - but quiet. The first receptionist was very helpful , directing us to a couple of good restaurants close by but thereafter we never saw the same person twice. Our room was spacious, well laid out and equipped but rather dark as the windows were small in comparison. There were also signs of damp. I loved the grand staircase and the breakfast room. The deal through Laterooms meant our two day break in Liverpool cost less than some B&Bs we stayed in on the same holiday.

Nice place- but could be more welcomingAs guests, you're not really welcomed by this hotel. The place is nice, but the staff are a little surly and aloof. They really need to sort out their reception staff and find staff with a bit of charm and a smile, rather than somebody who just looks inconvenienced by the guests even being there. The rooms are tidy and the special rates good value, so I just think the customer service needs attending to- then the place could be great.

Fabulously big room, very luxurious, more like a suite, split level with large comfy leather sofa and chair also a small dining area. Excellent decor throughout and very comfy big bed. Bathroom also very luxurious, with lovely towelling dressing gowns, lots of towels and good quality products. Very impressed!However the TV didn't work properly which didn't bother me and even though the very helpful receptionist provided me with an adaptor for my iPod the sound was very low on the docking station, as I was short of time I didn't contact reception who I'm sure would have sorted out the problem for me. The hotel does have a collection of CD's that guests can play on the CD Player in the room but again I didn't have time to have a look a what was on offer, free broadband also provided...a definite plus. Last but not least the room was a bit dusty in places, maybe Housekeeping needs to do spot checks every now and again! All in all a very positive experience, very central, parking nearby and discounted. I would definitely stay there again.
