We've stayed here several times, primarily because of the hotel's location and "reasonable" for Manhattan pricing. The rooms are small and the beds are OK, not great. The bathrooms are really small and, in our experience, just have showers, no bathtubs. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Comfortable, modern room and great roof top bar. Smoking floor below my floor, causing smoke to go in my room. This is a great hotel. It's very hip and modern, the rooms are not large, but well appointed. There are several bars, including a rooftop one with great views. The only negative I had was that my non smoking room sat one floor above a smoking floor. For some reason, their ventilation pulled in the smoke from the floor below and pushed it out in my room, so each time we came back, it smelled like smoke. They brought us an ionizer that they ran for an hour, but the smoke came back by the middle of the night. They need to fix this, it was unpleasant.I would go to this hotel again, but would definitely stay on a higher floor if this isn't fixed. Great neighborhood! Within walking distance of main shopping areas, bars and restaurants.

the bar served excellent coffee, the atmosphere at happy hour was lively and sophisticated. The restaurant beneath the hotel served amazing thai food. Walk out the door and you are surround by the shops and nightlife of Soho.

The staff was excellent and the rooms quite nice. Nothing, all was good. The hotel is beautiful and centrally located for anyone who wants to stay in Chelsea. The staff was friendly and could not have been more helpful. A great hotel!

This hotel had the friendliest staff I have ever met. The room we stayed in was a decent size, extremely comfortable with a nice large TV and a mini-bar. We only ate breakfast at the reataurant and the food and service was very good. They never rushed you. Given the location of the hotel I thought it was a tad expensive but it was the location we needed (near NYU). If I ever needed to be in this area of New York again I would not hesitate to stay there.

Great restaurant, great housekeeping service, great location. Unorganized luggage check-in, doormen slow at getting cabs.

Nice size room. Great bar area. Service was good. Thermostat did not work in room. Stuffy and hot room. This is a nice, small, luxury hotel, but in a very odd location. Hard to get a taxi because its in such a remote area of SOHO. Great bar scene.

The 60 Thompson has amazing contemporary design touches and the rooms are very comfortable. I had a 'basic' room and found it quite roomy for a New York hotel room. The bathroom was incredible. There is a nice seating area. The lighting was verisitle in moods. There was plenty of drawer space and closet room. I love the fact that it is in the heart of a great neighborhood and not surrounded by other hotels. Also within walking distance of other wonderful parks and neighborhoods. The entire staff were impecable.

Amazing food. My room was a bit noisy. Trendy & boutique style hotel in a great location in NYC.

The room was large by New York standards and immaculate. The bathroom was (I'm not kidding) to die for: gorgeous brown granate tiling, roomy and luxurious. The hotel is run and occupied by people dressed in black: black shirts, black slacks, black dresses. Even though we were totally out of place they made us feel welcomed and did not snicker at our sneakers and denim shorts behind our backs. 60 Thompson is simply a physical pleasure to be in for a short, expensive stay. Staff was very nice although they forgot to bring up our luggage and my husband had to go down and fetch it. They were very apologetic but indicated some disorganization.

We love the location of 60 Thompson in SoHo. The neighborhood is charming and has a multitude of great places to eat and shop. The help is always so friendly and helpful that we have searched out other hotels under the same ownership in other locations.

The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The toilet was too small and its space design was not reasonable.

Loved the turndown service. Fresh fruit and goodies are in the room on arrival. Little intimidating arriving in the lobby with suitcases. The lobby becomes a club in the evening. Fantastic stay! The staff is the friendliest in the city. The rooms are small yet very comfortable with a great bed. Loved the whole vibe of the hotel. Our favorite place we've stayed in NY.

Attentive, friendly and professional staff from arrival to check out. Rooms could be larger, but are probably bigger than many NY hotels. The doormen were attentive and friendly, the front desk staff and manager were very gracious. The hotel is chic and trendy, but we didn't feel out of place. Our room was beautiful and comfortable beds. The bathroom was very sleek and modern. We felt pampered. This is probably the best hotel experience that we have ever had.

Modern, clean, comfortable. Did not provide me a non-smoking room. Hotel seemed quite new, modern, very clean, room was a good size and beds were very comfortable - good support, good pillows and covers. Unfortunately, they didn't have a non-smoking room available and I there was a light smoke smell from the carpet, but the hotel did give me an ionizer to use for the evening, which mitigated the smell considerably. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Contemporary and elegant. Beds supported on wooden blocks all way around, almost broke toe. Excellent andclose to everything.

Great location. Great, friendly staff. Room was small for most places, but average sized for NYC. It was very expensive, but near excellent in every respect. Great hotel. Exceptional staff from concierge to cleaning staff to registration. Beautiful rooftop bar. Excellent location. Some say the rooms are small, but to me they are NYC sized. Most hotels in NY have smaller rooms than those elsewhere.
