My only problem is when i check in at noon my room was not ready before 12h50pm and i had meeting for 1pm so it caused me a lot of trouble. Plus i have to say that the people who works there, are not very friendly but it s not a big deal. The beds look cheap but not to bad for the comfort. It s a good thing to have a kitchen but it would be also great to offer room service and they don t have. But i was surprised when i check out because it was 11h30pm and they don t charge me for the next night even if the chek in is at noon so wow ...for that reason and for the low price, i will take this hotel again.

The lobby was newly renovated, very nice modern decor. The room decor was out dated. The service was great, the hotel looked like it was under going renovations, the lobby and restaurant area was beautiful, the room needs some fixing up, great location, and view of Downtown Calgary.

The hotel is excellent for business and family travel. Strategic location. Restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices. Free internet & WIFI is always a bonus.

I recently stayed at this hotel and when we called the 1-800 number we were told one price and that parking was free. When we checked in the price was different and parking was not included and was $20. I need to say that I didn't book this online They did honor the price we were quoted for however we still had to pay parking. Room was clean but very old. Decor needs updating. The ottoman belonging to the chair had a huge stain on. Closet door was broken. The one bed sagged. The heating was not very good. It took hours for it to warm up in the room..there was a portable electric heater in the closet which we needed to use. When we went to shower it took forever for any hot water to come out of the tap. Once it did, you had to have it turned all the way open, you could not adjust it down as it would then go cold. If you tried to add some cold to the hot water, it would go back to being cold. Basically I had to shower with the hot water full blast, and use a face cloth to splash water on my body. Its a good thing I didnt need to wash my hair as I would have had to go right under the spray which was really hot water. On a positive side, the lobby looks very modern, clean, staff very friendly, eager to help. The price is very reasonable given it is in a good downtown location. It would be alright if you needed to stay for long period of time as it has a kitchen. But you get what you pay for. I would never stay here again.

First I want to say I am a chef and have worked in hotels for a long long time. I stayed here for one night and could not take it. To start the room was not cleaned when I checked in, pizza boxes in the fridge, no towels, the bed was not made and the list just goes on, I even checked in late at 7:30pm so I would think it would have been cleaned I was wrong. I went to take a shower and the bath products in the room had been used. when I called down to the front desk they were rude and said someone would come up to fix the problems I previously listed but no one came I have to actually go to the front desk and ask for a manager after waiting for 2 hours for house keeping to do the job they were to do before I arrived. besides the obvious blunders by the house keeping staff, the room was not at all pleasing the decor looks like someone hit a garage sale and even after the house keeping staff arrived the room was still filthy. The lounge/dining room was just as disappointing, I am a trained chef and have made a career working in hotels, the food took a hour and a half to get to my table after I order and there was four people in the the lounge and I was the only one eating. and to top it all the food was cold and bad.

Now it's not the Westin, but for the price, not bad at all. Good location and a good price. The full kitchen was nice, although we didn't eat in that much, it was a convenience. The carpet and beds are a little old, but everything else was super. If you get the breakfast buffet included, that's not bad either.

About the worst hotel I ever stayed in. Bedcover had large brown stain, paint flaking off, bathroom was disgusting. Everything was dirty and smelt. Avoid at all costs
