Extremely close to the station, which was a plus. However, it was right beside the main street in Bologna where all the shops/restaurants are as well, so it really was well positioned. Not the best looking hotel, and overlooks a bus station. But I didn't hear any noise, and the room was of excellent quality. I can't really comment on the food, as I went out for meals. But breakfast was your standard continental style, which was fine. Friendly staff too.

Clean & comfortable room - good location for Exhibition / Fare centre, and for central station.The hotel is located close to the Bologna central railway station, although I had flown in, and used skybus to get to the station area to get to the hotel. The hotel itself is modern, and very clean, but is located in an area of shops whereI think renovations are on-going. My room was on the 2nd floor at the front, and there was some road noise - but not intrusive. Room very clean and comfortable, with mini-bar, and flat screen TV (no tea or coffee making facilities - but I think this is common in Europe). The buffet breakfast was freshly laided out, and typical continental type, but also hot scrambled eggs, bacon, and boiled eggs were available. The reception bar was well staffed and friendly.The hotel is located in the northern part of Bologna, about 15 mins walk from the city centre, there is ample public transport. I used the hotel while I visited the Autopromotec show at the Bologna Fare district....this was again within walking distance, but better to take a taxi if the weather is hot. I ate out both evenings in Bologna city centre.The staff at the hotel where very helpful and friendly, and had excellent English. The only problem I had was that the WiFi would not connect in my room, so I had to use my laptop in reception where the connection was OK. Reception said they would get it looked at, but my stay was too short to see it fixed, or to benefit.Still - excellent hotel, not a great location but at least handy for the central station and skybus stop, and an easy walk to the city centre.
