Interesting old hotel. They have a haunted hotel tour which I thought was kind of boring but certainly memorable, funny group of people on the tour. Hotel has a strange history. Good and inexpensive breakfast buffet. The hotel was a little hard to find as the roads in Eureka Springs are a bit like a maze, I had to break out my Blackberry mapping program as the hotel is not within the old town area. Old hotel, nice looking from the outside, bathrooms small and ready to be redone. Good value for the money. Nice people working at the hotel. Actually seems most people in Arkansas are really nice as well.

The Crescent Hotel is full of history and character. Everything is so old that it is hard to achieve the level of cleanliness that I like. It was still adequate. Great historic hotel in an amazing setting. Staff wears old fashion uniforms which adds to the fun old time environment. You can almost picture the kind of clients who have frequented the Crescent over the years, it's history is fascinating. The grounds are beautiful so it is a popular setting for weddings.

Crescent is such a beautiful place. We have stayed there three times in the last three years and will stay again. Try the North Penthouse- The view is breathtaking. We used the spa on our most recent stay and the service was great. The Crystal Dining room is neat, but slightly overpriced. The service was good and the staff is friendly. You are even likely to see the owner out and about with his dog.

VERY HISTORIC HOTEL. FRIENDLY STAFF. The room could have been larger and the carpeting was in poor condition. The dining room was a nice upscale place for dinner but the breakfast was a bit of a let down.

Location. It's a historic hotel but hasn't been kept up well. The Crescent Hotel has a stunning location, at the top of the big hill overlooking the town. However, it has not been kept up properly. The rug in our room was sticky in places; the hair dryer didn't work; and the decor was depressing. The bartenders in the upstairs bar were rude, and the bar in the lobby was closed to the public, we were told on a Saturday night. Without our realizing it ahead of time, dozens of motorcyclists converged on the hotel for a weekend, parking their cycles directly beside the hotel entrance and making noise with their (illegal) exhaust pipes all weekend.

Room was cold. Bathroom was unheated. No sitting space in room. Paid * for room winter rate. A bit high for the area and what you get.We usually stay at HI express.

The history and well kept for age. Did not like staying on the floor next to Dr.Baker's lounge. I loved everything about the hotel except the fact of the inconsiderate people on the 4th floor that went to the lounge and were very loud.

Beautiful period decor, ask to hear the instruments in the lobby. Rooms have real metal keys. Take the ghost tour. Only minor irritation was the coffee pot cord wouldn't reach the outlet.

The Victorian decor was beautiful and was a very clean and friendly establishment. Atmosphere was friendly and finding out about the history and taking the tour added to the enchantment of the hotel. Will be going back again.

If you're a fan of architecture, of places that are full of history and character, then you absolutely must go to the Crescent. A grand, almost intimidating structure, it is filled with a variety of beautifully decorated rooms; victorian in style, but not over-the-top-floral-nightmare victorian. There are gorgeous verandas on the front and back of the hotel on multiple levels offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. There is a spa on site, as well as a restaraunt that doubles as a dance hall, a bar with it's own veranda, and a history worth reading about. There are ghost stories stemming from when the hotel was briefly run as a psychiatric hospital, rooms said to be haunted. Eureka Springs is a beautiful place to go, and staying at the Crescent made it that much more special.

The experiences we had was well worth the trip, we got some awesome pictures, you'd have to see to believe. The one and only thing we did not like (we could not afford to eat at the restaurant for dinner it was far to expensive). As far as the hotel is concerned we had a blast. We were fortunate enough to get acquainted with some of the staff. Lady who works in the gift shop, she was just as friendly.

It was very beautiful. The price of the meals was very high. The scenery was very nice and the hotel was amazing.

Location/setting and staff was excellent. The hallways outside the rooms were filled with tourists taking the in-hotel ghost tour. Excellent in many ways, unfortunately there were unsupervised children running up and down the hallway after 10pm and several times when we returned or left our room the corridor was filled with 20-30 gawking tourists who were on a bullshit ghost tour. Nice hotel otherwise although a bit pricey.
